PathPoint is seeking full-time Job Coaches in San Luis Obispo County, CA 93405. Job Coaches support adults with disabilities at their place of work, helping them maintain successful employment and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. This position is full-time for up to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule, and some weekend availability is needed. Paid training and First Aid/CPR certification is provided.

What You'll Do:
- Accompany individuals to their place of work, observe their abilities, and identify any areas for improvement. Provide feedback and assistance to increase productivity and encourage positive work behavior.
- Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues/concerns, and advocate for them when needed.
- Assist individuals in completing work-related paperwork, such as time cards, time off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain good relationships with employers and workplace supervisors, and act as liaison between employers, workplace supervisors, and individuals.
- Assist in developing and implementing an individualized plan for coaching participants to work more independently, with the eventual goal of complete self-sufficiency.
- Actively participate in meetings and discussions regarding individual's progress.
- Maintain daily logs and reports.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; if you are interested in this job but do not have directly relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you!
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, their family members, social workers, employers, and others in a positive and constructive manner
- Must pass pre-employment fingerprint background check, TB screening and basic health screening
- Must have safe and reliable transportation for regular travel in SLO County, including visiting multiple sites in one day
- Culturally sensitive and aware of differences in employees based on cultural backgrounds; aware of one's own culture and how someone's background may lead to biases; has the skills and resources needed to work with employees from all different cultures and the ability to avoid making biased assumptions based on someone's culture.
Compensation: Starting wage $19.00 per hour plus eligibility for quarterly production bonuses. The pay range is $15.50-$22.61*.
Bilingual: Starting wage for bilingual (English-Spanish or English-ASL) is $19.30 per hour plus eligibility for quarterly production bonuses and the pay range is $15.83-$23.74*
