Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered.
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure efficient scheduling to optimize clinic operations.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, including relaying important medical information.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience within the clinic setting.
- Following up with patients in regards to appointments, referrals, orders, prescriptions, etc.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Previous experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
- Sending referrals to specialists and following up with lab and image results.
- Checking denied claims and resubmitting corrected claims within our electronic record system, Athena.
- Returning phone calls, faxes, and medical record requests.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
