Food Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest services while assisting in various food preparation and handling tasks. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist with cash handling and operate the cash register accurately during transactions.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines for food handling, storage, and preparation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash register operations and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting.

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
