Paralegal

Patrick Industries Corporate Office is currently hiring a Paralegal to join our growing team located in downtown Elkhart. The position will report to, and support our Chief Legal Officer in the Legal Department and will be responsible for updating company files, administering contracts, reviewing documents, and providing legal support to the Team.

In this exciting position, the Paralegal will has the opportunity to work within a large, publically traded company who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of components products and building materials serving different Industries throughout the United States including RV, Marine and Manufactured Housing.

Other responsibilities will include;

· Coordinating the collection and review of legal documents

· Drafting legal documents including merger and acquisition paperwork

· Organizing and managing documents, including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems

· Coordinating the collection and review of legal documents

· Preparing briefs, contracts, acquisition closing statements

· Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings

· Supporting the daily operations of the legal division including governmental and financial regulations

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, or related field

· 2 years of experience working in a Paralegal role

· Paralegal certificate from an accredited ABA program is preferred

· Experience in preparing legal reports

· Strong research, writing skills and attention to detail is mandatory

· The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization is necessary

· A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with short deadlines

· Must have an understanding of Patrick Industries business direction, portfolio, and Business Unit demand
