Job Opening: Emergency Medical Technician
Location: Sugar Hill, GA
Patriot EMS is hiring! We’re seeking skilled and compassionate EMS professionals to join our Sugar Hill, GA team. Open positions include EMT-R, EMT, EMT-I, AEMT, and Paramedic roles. Our team is committed to providing high-quality, non-emergency medical transport throughout West Georgia and the greater Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, compassionate care to patients in non-emergency settings.
- Follow all State of Georgia EMS regulations and Patriot EMS protocols.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain ambulances and medical equipment daily.
- Maintain current licenses and certifications as required by state and company policy.
- Respond to assigned service calls and administer appropriate patient care.
- Accurately complete Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing documentation, and incident reports.
- Ensure all vehicles and crew members remain in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Attend required meetings and maintain reliable attendance.
- Remain professional and mission-ready while on duty, with minimal supervision.
- Lift, carry, and move up to 150 lbs, with or without assistance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Georgia license as an EMT-R, EMT, EMT-I, AEMT, or Paramedic
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
