Renovation Technician - Flooring

Patriot Epoxy is looking for an individual to join our team in a support role to the Renovation Technicians. The focus of this role will be to prepare the vehicles with materials needed for jobs the following day, organize inventory, complete repairs at customer sites, perform some light maintenance, and install floor coatings.

This role includes the primary job responsibilities of an experienced Renovation Technician, related to grinding concrete floors and installing floor coatings such as epoxy, stains, and polished concrete for both residential and commercial job sites. We have recently expanded our offerings to include some other garage renovation services such as lighting, cabinets, and overhead storage. From time to time, you may be tasked to install those as well.

Our ideal teammate is reliable, a good written and verbal communicator, comfortable speaking with customers, organized, has attention to detail, and a desire to learn and improve their craft every day. Experience in construction, carpentry, or other like industries is preferred but not required.

Our starting point each morning is in Ladson, SC. Candidate MUST reside nearby and able to drive to/from work. The typical work day begins around 7:00 am and ends around 3:45 pm, depending on daily job needs. Working a half or full day on Saturdays approximately 50% of the time should be expected. In exchange for this, some days off during the week would be provided.

We are looking for people to have the following:

• Ability to communicate with clients and accurately answer their questions
• Organized & clean
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license
• Good driving record over the last 3 years
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs for short distances
• Experience in light construction or carpentry
• Able to work outdoors in hot and cool conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
