Job Title: Sales Executive – Fire Protection Services
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team specializing in Fire Protection Services. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, and closing sales by promoting and selling our fire protection systems inspections and services, including fire alarms, suppression systems, sprinkler systems, extinguishers, and maintenance contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire safety solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries (commercial, industrial, healthcare, etc.) by researching and qualifying leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their fire protection needs, and offering customized solutions.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals: Conduct sales presentations, demonstrate products, and create tailored proposals/quotes for fire protection solutions based on customer requirements.
- Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on fire safety regulations, industry best practices, and the benefits of proactive fire protection systems.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on fire protection products and services, including fire alarms, fire suppression systems, sprinkler systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate service agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for both the client and the company.
- Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure proper service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities on our CRM, client interactions, and contract details in the CRM system, providing regular sales reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within fire protection services, safety equipment, or a related field.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems (Fire Protection Inspections, fire alarms, suppression systems, sprinklers, etc.) and relevant fire safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with commercial and industrial clients.
- Familiarity with local and national fire codes and safety regulations.
- Certifications in fire protection systems (optional but beneficial).
