Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to pack food items accurately according to the receipt provided
This includes performing quality control checks to ensure that all items are packed correctly and meet the standards of our restaurant
The Food Packer will also need to recognize and understand various menu items, which is essential for ensuring that the correct items are packed for our customers
Additionally, the role involves filling sauces and condiments as needed, which requires attention to detail and an understanding of portion sizes
At the end of each shift, the Food Packer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing their work station to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
It is also important to maintain cleanliness and organization in the takeout area throughout the shift to ensure a smooth operation
