What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator Operations- Mill Hall, PA position at Patterson-UTI?
Responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and keeping inventory of sand storage boxes or bins. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform sand coordinator duties. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down pneumatic forklift rated for greater than 50,000 lbs. in a high speed/high stress work environment.
Key Accountabilities
Proficiency in operating and maintaining a 50k or larger forklift
Perform daily inspection and maintenance of the forklift. Eg. Greasing/Lubricating, equipment cleanliness, etc.
Ensure all paperwork is completed and accurate in a timely manner.
Complete pre-shift Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Daily Vehicle Inspection Record (DVIR).
Send required information about equipment to Lead Mechanic, or direct supervisor daily or as needed.
Ensure all drivers/operators are in the designated safe zone during loading/unloading process.
Ensure Dance Floor is free of debris and all safety procedures are followed during operations
Work with Sand Coordinator to collect onsite inventory and create efficient run sheets based on inventory.
Always follow all safety policies & procedures, report any incident immediately to safety and direct supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of heavy forklift operation
Ability to organize and prioritize work with consistent follow-through
Knowledge of daily maintenance for heavy equipment. Eg. Greasing
Motivated; a “self-starter”; able to work independently.
Minimum Required Work Experience
- 2 years heavy forklift operating experience, oilfield preferred
