Work is generally performed in residential homes, commercial businesses, and/or municipal buildings throughout Western NC. Occasionally projects will require working in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, dusty, wet, or other adverse conditions.

MITIGATION TECHNICIAN - JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Understand the operation of drying & restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtered equipment, and other remediation equipment
- Perform water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire damage mitigation according to IICRC guidelines
- Have basic construction knowledge and be familiar with using basic hand tools and hand held power tools
- Basic labor tasks, such as demolition and removal of debris
- Must have valid drivers license, good driving record, and ability to drive vans and large cube trucks
- Reliable transportation to and from our office
- Must pass background check and/or drug test
- General work hours from 8am to 5pm, nights & weekends as required by work flow
- Must participate on company on-call schedule
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic
- Complete project related paperwork and document projects as required
MITIGATION TECHNICIAN - PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Regularly use hand tools in order to remove damaged building materials from buildings
- Must be able to don half face and/or full face respirator
- Ability to use stairs and regularly climb and descend ladders of varying heights
- Frequently stand, squat, crawl, and/or walk for hours at a time
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with others
