Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As an Estimator, you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for our production teams to complete. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form. Why The Team Needs You? Team Qualifications (Requirements):
  • Strong work ethic with a foundation in customer service
  • Training and/or experience in estimating and the ability to write/learn to write estimates within the Xactimate Estimating Software. Knowledge of Symbility estimating software is a plus
  • Experience and/or education and training in the construction industry, including an understanding of how a building is put together and familiarity with residential construction and remodeling
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software, and a high level of software proficiency
  • Excellent time/priority management, self-discipline and organizational skills
  • Tenacious in pursuit of solving moderate to complex issues

Role on the Team (Job Functions):
  • Consistently represent the values of the Company
  • Communicate closely with Project Managers, Technicians and Operations
  • Prepare and submit accurate estimates for mitigation, reconstruction, and remodeling work
  • Establish and maintain estimating and documentation standards
  • Properly maintain job files and required documentation
  • Inspect properties for pre-existing damage and prepare Pre-Existing Damage Reports
  • Negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters
  • Build and maintain relationships with TPAs and Insurance Adjustors
  • Participate in on-call rotation
