What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Paul's Snowplowing LLC?
Paul's Snowplowing has a few positions available for a high-quality, skilled equipment operators to fight snow during the Snow Season!
A well-qualified equipment operator should have a minimum of 3 years of operating experience have the ability to operate under any and all weather conditions and traffic patterns. Operators have their own dedicated routes. There are property maps to show you the property lines, what direction to push, and where to pile the snow. Many routes are high profile and comprised of busy retail locations that see hundreds of customers at each property throughout the day, so focus, confidence, patience and 100% attendance is a must.
Work typically begins at 2 am, but is dependent on each individual snow event. Your equipment is always fueled up and ready to go, and is 5 years old or newer, with the exception of 2 pieces. The pushers we use are high tech sectional pusher that makes your job easy if used properly. There is shoveling involved in a majority of the routes.
This would be a 24 hour on call position from Nov. 1st to April 1st. Reliability is a MUST
