Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to support our educational team in creating a positive learning environment for students. Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Support students in their daily activities, including academic tasks, social interactions, and behavior management.
- Facilitate small group instruction in subjects such as literacy and math to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs and achievements.
- Help create a safe and nurturing environment for all children, including those with disabilities or special education needs.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure an optimal learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies for effective behavior management.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with students with disabilities.
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and early childhood development principles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
