Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Unload pallets safely with the use of manual handling techniques.
- Organize and stock products on shelves or storage areas according to store layout and inventory control standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with stock replenishment.
- Assist with supporting retail sales and merchandising efforts.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and stocking areas through routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to support shipping & receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of goods.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with retail stocking, shipping & receiving processes preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and control.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse teams.
- Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments is advantageous.
