Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). This role requires participation in community health matters/projects as appropriate and maintaining professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. Key responsibilities include following physical therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising PT, charting appropriately and timely, utilizing therapy software accurately, and exhibiting excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Education and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a graduate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT) and be currently registered/licensed in applicable State. One year of experience in post-acute care or related setting is preferred. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation is required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate good body mechanics at all times, make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action, and maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
