What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Pool Manager position at Payson City?
I. Position Title: Assistant Pool Manager
II. Summary of Overall Purpose of Position. Under the overall direction of the Aquatics Manager/Recreation Specialist assists with the day-to-day responsibilities at the Payson City Outdoor Pool from March to October.
Duties:
- Supervise head lifeguards and lifeguards, deal with disciplinary issues of staff, works as a lifeguard at times, and other administrative duties.
- Will work various schedules, which will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Marginal Duties:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
3 years of work in an aquatic facility with increasing responsibility is preferred.
Certifications: Current Lifeguard certification, current CPR and First Aid certification, LGI and WSI certifications a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with CPO Certification.
Computer literacy and ability to work with the public and other employees.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and in good general health.
Salary : $15 - $18
