We are looking for a talented Portfolio Director with strong personal attributes to help us oversee several apartment communities in the Phoenix area. In addition, the Portfolio Director will be responsible for maintaining relationships with owners. We offer competitive pay, benefits and a professional working environment.
Position Summary
The Portfolio Director works closely with each of their community managers to ensure the property is operating optimally. The Portfolio Director also communicates regularly with clients regarding on going operations of their properties that include financial status, current and projected capital projects, staffing and budget monitoring. The Portfolio Director needs to be able to provide current sub-market and overall economic information to the client, which includes competitor status, area business information, industry standards and challenges. The Portfolio Director is required to clearly communicate and explain PB Bell policies and procedures supporting company philosophy, values and vision. This position will review financial reports to include the approval of invoice expenses, capital projects and budget variances. In addition, the position is responsible for monitoring of projected monthly cash flow to communicate with owners of needed funds if necessary. Portfolio Directors need to clearly communicate the financial position of their communities to their clients. The Position will maintain relations with vendors and contractor companies and requests bids for operating and capital improvement projects. Supervision of projects while in process to ensure quality, and tracking contractor/vendor payments is also necessary.
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in multi-family management required
- Minimum 2 years experience managing multiple apartments required
- Must be able to communitcate with 3rd party owners and investors effectivly
- Excellent computer skills required
- Must be well versed in analyzing property financial status
- Must be customer service oriented
