Your Role and Impact
As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and converting executive and operational leaders into long-term partners. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and cold outreach to proposing and closing deals, positioning PBO’s outsourced Human Resources solutions as the answer to client pain points. This role is about consultative selling and building tailored solutions that drive success for both our clients and our organization.
Areas of Accountability:
· Prospecting (80%)
· CRM/Admin/Reporting (10%)
· Networking (10%)
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt for net new logos and strategic accounts in established target industries.
- Lead discovery consultative sales discussions with COOs, CFOs, CEOs, and Founders.
- Actively engage prospective clients through in-person/virtual networking events, industry conferences, and platforms like LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with internal Human Resources consultants to build tailored solutions and design scope.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and documentation in the CRM.
- Report timely on monthly/quarterly KPIs, including meetings booked, pipeline creation, and revenue closed.
- Remain current on the Human Resources industry, outsourced services, and pain points for the small to mid-size market.

Qualifications for Success
- 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 1 year selling Human Resources-related services, SaaS, or consulting.
- A hunter mentality with advanced skills in outbound prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of Human Resources administration (month-end close, financial reporting, budgets, etc.).
- Ability to speak credibly with Human Resources stakeholders and translate complex needs into solutions.
- Highly organized with CRM discipline, follow-through, and forecast accountability.
- A relevant network and book of business is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation required.
