What We’re Looking For
The Software Support Analyst I will provide software support to users with limited computer experience, along with determining hardware/network issues and installation of various products in conjunction with the software, from a customer service standpoint, and end-user training via phone support.
What You Will Do
• Provide installation and setup assistance for related software systems and modules
• Maintain and troubleshoot client/server software and desktop hardware
• Test software, provide end-user training, create technical guides and print training materials
• Provide phone support to end-users on a variety of technical issues
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software via phone and remote connection
• Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions
• Thirty five percent travel required
• Assist with related special projects, as required
Who You Are
• Bachelor’s Degree or three years of experience in the Information Technology field
• Two years of experience in phone support in the IT field
• Pharmacy experience preferred
• On-site software implementation experience preferred
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the hardware and software field
• Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting procedures
• Knowledge of SQL Server installation and troubleshooting
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to type 50 words per minute by touch
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and verbal format
• Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees both in person and on the phone
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
• Knowledge of SQL Server installation and troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications:
• A Certification a plus
• Experience in the Pharmacy field a plus.
