Overview
PCI Government Services (PCI-GS) in support of our client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), is seeking a qualified candidate to work with public health leaders and multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for leveraging public health data to produce actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Specific job duties include (but not limited to) the following:
• Develop scientific manuscripts and interpret output from qualitative and quantitative models.• Contribute to systematic literature reviews on multiple topics. This will include:• Performing database queries to pull relevant literature• Screening titles and abstracts against inclusion/exclusion criteria• Assessing full scientific texts for study quality• Synthesizing results from the literature search into PRISMA diagrams and summaries• Coordinate with different functional teams to develop status reports and manuscript drafts.• Contribute to the production of data-informed communications products.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline.• Minimum of THREE (3) years of experience in a professional or academic setting.• Experience conducting literature reviews.• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.• Knowledge of systematic literature review processes and screening tools.• Experience reading and assessing scientific research articles.• Understanding of the development and review processes of technical manuscripts.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred
• Experience performing systematic literature review is a plus.• Experience with Rayyan, nVivo, or other screening tools is helpful.• Strong candidates will have knowledge of health equity, social determinants of health, and injury prevention and control.
Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.EEO
