PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Engineer to play a critical role in driving supply chain optimization and supplier performance within the cutting-edge aerospace industry. This remote opportunity offers flexibility with periodic travel to the New York/New Jersey area—travel and per diem fully covered. Your Impact:
In this role, you will be the driving force behind identifying and resolving supplier quality and delivery issues, elevating supplier standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with COMAC and supplier partners, your expertise will ensure supply chain resilience and enable successful negotiations with local suppliers, ultimately supporting the production of advanced aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on-site assessments and collaborate with suppliers to uncover root causes of quality and delivery issues and develop effective corrective actions
Conduct comprehensive quality audits of first-tier suppliers and support audits of sub-tier suppliers when necessary
Establish and monitor key performance indicators with COMAC and suppliers, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and delivery standards
Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze supply chain data and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and supplier reliability
Prepare detailed reports and communications to keep stakeholders informed and aligned
Qualifications You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
10 years of progressive experience in supply chain engineering or logistics, with a strong background in industrial manufacturing or aerospace
Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
Proven ability to manage complex projects, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver results in fast-paced environments
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Willingness to travel periodically to the New York/New Jersey area (travel and per diem covered)

Pay Details: 80.00 per hour
