Our company is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working staff members to join our Mental Health Team. The ideal candidate will have a background working in the mental health sector, and will be comfortable working in a busy environment. The Mental Health Counselor works with patients who are suffering from a variety of psychological disorders and also performs bio-psycho-assessments, develops treatment plants, facilitates groups, couples counseling, family therapy, administrative work, which involves proper EMR documentation, handling paperwork and communicating with other medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a positive relationship with patients and their families.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond appropriately to the needs of the patient and family, and clinical director
- Communicate with staff members about patient conditions.
- Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
- Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
