We’re looking for an Activity Assistant to join our team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance are extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions of this job.

Responsibilities:

Maintain detailed records of activity programs and participation of individual residents, identifying progress.

Conduct resident activity histories and assessments as required by state and federal standards.

Other duties as assigned.

Assist in the planning of activity groups and special events.

Assist in 1 on 1 or in-room activity.

Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents.

Ability to assist residents to and from activities.
Requirements:

High school graduates with certification were required by state regulations.

Excellent creative and communication skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.

Genuine care for and interest in elderly and handicapped people.
