Corporate Controller - Automotive Group - Atlanta
Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to join our automotive group. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate and direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage internal audits and controls to safeguard company assets.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
