We are currently seeking a qualified facility Medical Records/Central Supply Coordinator to join our team. Full-time position benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, Paid time off (PTO), and participation in the company 401(k) retirement plan.
Medical Records Role Responsibilities
Accountable for the electronic health record keeping procedures and storage of all resident medical records in a manner consistent with facility policies and procedures, professional standards, and State and Federal laws and regulations for long-term care facilities.
Central Supply Role Responsibilities
Performs a variety of duties associated with purchasing and supply management. Ensures that appropriate supplies and equipment are available for the residents in order to reach optimal patient care at the best pricing in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Life Care Standards.
Requirements
Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications
- Associate Degree preferred
- One year of experience in the last three years in a comparable job classification
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
Preferred Experience and Skills
- RHIT or RHIA
- Thorough understanding of electronic health records and healthcare computer applications
