Pearson Butler is a medium-sized client-focused law firm in South Jordan. Our Family Law Department is a collaborative environment that aims to provide excellent representation to clients.
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal applicant will learn quickly, while having a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and an ability to meet deadlines. The attorney will manage a caseload of divorce, custody, and guardianship cases - spearheading every facet of litigation that stems from these cases. Our most successful attorneys are individuals who are self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Candidates must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and have an active license with the Utah State Bar. Preference will be given to candidates with 2 years of Family Law or Litigation experience.

Responsibilities:
· Managing a caseload of family law cases through every stage of litigation, including motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial
· Maintaining prompt communication with clients, courts, and other attorneys
· Tracking and meeting all relevant deadlines
· Supervising the work of a paralegal
Qualifications: The ideal applicant will have:
· Active Utah Bar License
· Family Law experience
· 2 years litigation experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to successfully retain clients
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
Pay: $115K and bonuses, DOE
