EDR Attendant (Employee Dining Room) (Full Time)

The Employee Dining Room Attendant is responsible for the efficient and orderly operation of the Employee Dining Room.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Check and stock all dishes, silverware, condiments, and other supplies.
• Requisition paper products and condiments from the storeroom weekly.
• Transport dirty and clean dishes to/from the kitchen with the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Clean all equipment, tabletops, refrigerator, and other food service equipment daily.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor/manager.
• Serve employees meals and maintain portions as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Ensure the uses of sanitary and hygienic techniques are maintained at all times
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping by bussing tables and cleaning up spills.
• Sweep and maintain the dining room floor daily to include washing the floor when necessary.
• Pick up hot food from kitchen and maintain adequate amounts throughout meal periods.
• Prepare cold food items for salad bar, including slicing deli meats and mixing tuna fish and egg salad.
• Empty trash as needed and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knows models and integrates PBC culture (mission, values, and standards).
• Comply with the Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Must be organized and self-motivated.
• Must be able to understand directions and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
• Able to operate dishwashing machine.
• High school diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years of age.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of sanitation, cleaning, and basic food preparation helpful.
