Primary Purpose

This role encompasses the development and supervision of a dedicated team of licensed and certified therapists, ensuring exceptional client care. As a leader for both clinical and administrative priorities, the Occupational Therapist champions both personal and organizational objectives. This individual coordinates services within the clinic to guarantee the highest quality of client care provided to families. Direct therapy services are also part of this role, including overseeing therapy assistants and interns.

Qualifications

*Education/Certification*

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
  • Maintains appropriate national credentials.
  • Demonstrates extensive clinical knowledge to support therapists.

*Experience*

  • Preferred minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Specialized training, certification, or experience.
  • At least two years of training or mentoring experience.

Major Responsibilities And Duties

  • Review client care documentation for guidance and education.
  • Complete required administrative duties and verifications.
  • Host weekly meetings to align with clinic vision for new employees.
  • Monitor productivity and compliance goals for therapy staff.
  • Provide data for monthly reporting packages.
  • Identify and link therapists to necessary clinical resources.
  • Deliver quality evidence-based therapy with comprehensive documentation and caregiver education.
  • Ensure adequate supervision for Students, Interns, and Assistants.
  • Comply with clinic policies and applicable legal regulations.
  • Travel between clinic locations may be required.
  • Perform other essential duties as needed.

  • Assist in various clinic areas as needed.
  • Engage in community outreach to educate and connect the public.
  • Fulfill other assignments and responsibilities as directed.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Maintain physical, mental, and emotional stamina for position duties.
  • Evaluate data to make sound judgments and decisions.
  • Perform physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Sustain light physical labor up to eight hours, assist children physically.
  • Navigate various work environments effectively, including stairs and ramps.
