Medicaid Coordinator Job Description - Mooresville, NC
Pediatric Advanced Therapy, the largest pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in the Carolinas, is seeking an Medicaid Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be organized, friendly and able to multi-task in a busy environment and will have the following duties, skills and experience:
- Submit for Medicaid Authorizations
- Coordinate with clinical staff to complete documentation and paperwork
- Track authorizations using Excel
- Communicate with families and physicians for any documentation needs
Medicaid Coordinator Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of electronic scheduling systems a plus
- Knowledge of insurance and Medicaid rules a plus
- Must be well organized and work well in a team environment
