Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join us at Pediatric Dental Specialists and Brikhouse Orthodontics! We are a growing private orthodontic & pediatric dental practice with 3 offices that serve the east valley. We are looking for the right individual to join our awesome team. Over the past 40 years we pride ourselves on doing the right thing for our families that come through the door. As the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will work closely with our orthodontist, dental assistants, and administrative staff to facilitate treatment plans, and coordinate scheduling and make financial arrangements.
Responsibilities would include:
1. Conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their orthodontic needs and explain treatment options.
2. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, expected timelines, and potential outcomes.
3. Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure accurate documentation, maintain patient records, and update treatment progress.
4. Work closely with our pediatric dental division.
5. Financial Management:
a. Provide detailed cost estimates for orthodontic treatments, including braces, aligners, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances.
b. Explain financial policies, insurance coverage, and payment options to patients and assist them in making financial arrangements.
c. Work closely with insurance providers to process claims, verify coverage, and maximize benefits.
d. Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and address patient concerns related to billing and financial matters.
6. Patient Support and Follow-up: Serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout their orthodontic treatment journey.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office setting is highly desirable.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
· Proficiency in dental software and office management systems.
· Familiarity with insurance processes and billing procedures related to orthodontic treatment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
