We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Medical Assistant will assist with various tasks related to patient care, administrative duties, and clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient history and vital signs accurately
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow within the clinic
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
Skills
- Familiarity with clinic operations, particularly in pediatric settings
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy to assist in clinical tasks
- Ability to operate various medical systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Spanish speaking is a plus
