What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Intensivist position at Pediatrix Medical Group?
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for aper diem Board Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our well-established practice at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Childrens Hospital in beautiful Charleston, West Virginia.
- 9-bed PICU that serves as a teaching site for residents
- Block scheduling (usually 7 days on) affording ample time off
- Out-of-house call with pediatric residents in-house 24/7
- Daily multidisciplinary rounds with residents, medical students, pharmacy, respiratory and dietary services
- Consultative services provided by pediatric sub-specialists representing more than 30 specialties, including pulmonary medicine, surgery, neurology, nephrology, infectious disease, hematology-oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and cardiology
- Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care required
- ASAP start
- WV license or IMLC required
