Minimum Degree Required to Qualify for Job Interview: Bachelor’s Degree
Area of Specialization for Degree: Mining and Mineral Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
Job Description: You will contribute to the process development of extraction and separation of metals from unconventional sources and recycled materials. You will collaborate with a team of experts to drive research and development projects, troubleshoot complex metallurgical challenges, and contribute to the advancement of our innovative technologies.
Responsibility
- Conduct laboratory-to-pilot scale experiments to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of proposed methods, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Analyze data and experimental results to improve extraction methods, increase recovery rates, and minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and scale up innovative technologies for critical metals extraction and purification.
- Provide metallurgical expertise to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in industrial settings.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master's/PHD degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on extractive metallurgy.
- 5 years of experience in the related field, experience in an industrial R&D laboratory is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, process modeling, and analytical techniques. Proficiency in laboratory and pilot-scale experimentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to understand the purpose and underlying ideas in experiments & contribute with innovative ideas on project work.
- Fully on site.
