What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator position at Peerless Inc?
Peerless Hi-Temp Fabrication is looking for a very accurate, dependable and conscientious person to operate a large table saw in our production area. The job entails taking various types and sizes of sheet material from our storage area and racks then setting up and operating the saw to cut them into smaller pieces.
Skills Required:
· Able to read blue prints at a basic level
· Able to lift heavy objects
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Able to work to close tolerances
· Able to drive a fork truck
· Able to work well with others as part of the production team
· Mechanically inclined (need to change blades and do general maintenance on the saw)
· General knowledge of computers and ERP system
Previous experience preferred – but training will be provided to the right candidate.
