Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive production from current and new relationships as an Internal Wholesaler dedicated to Life Insurance Sales through our Life Brokerage Distribution Channel. They are to develop sales opportunities through outreach and engagement with firm downlines, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and providing product & sales training, technical support and explanations, and assisting in moving business through underwriting and supporting recruiting efforts when necessary.

Essential Job Functions
- Onboards new life agents and engages those agents to write with Pekin Life Insurance
- Trains agents on the Pekin Life Brokerage products
- Assists agents in learning the process of quoting and submitting new business with Pekin Life
- Calls on assigned agents and assist them with writing new business
- Builds relationships and strong customer focus
- Excellent relationship, training and onboarding skills
- Makes outbound calls to life agents
- Supports agents to achieve sales goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Insurance related field or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 5 years of related experience
- 7-10 years' related experience
- Life Producer License, required
- Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) or Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) preferred
Demonstrated skill in:

Salary Range
- $60,000-$77,000K. per year
- This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position. Final compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
- This position is bonus eligible.

Salary : $60,000 - $77,000
