What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational Risk Analyst position at Pelham Berkeley Search?
We are hiring for a long term Operational Risk Analyst role.
This is a long term contract with the possibility of extension working hybrid on-site at a NYC based Asset Management Firm.
We need someone with 1st Line of Defense RCSA experience to work in the Operations Group.
In summary, you will:
- Perform risk and control self-assessments, identifying potential areas of weakness and recommending control enhancements to promote a strong risk-based culture within the Operations group.
- Report monthly Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and other assigned monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Partner with management on risk management projects, providing analysis and strategic support.
- Assist with related project initiatives, including Change Management, Record Retention, Issue Management, and Third-Party Risk Management programs.
- Participate in and provide ongoing support for audit (internal and external) and regulatory reviews and inquires.
- Collaborate with the manager on automation projects, streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
Requirements include:
- 2 years of relevant 1st Line of Defense operational work experience.
- Must have a strong understanding of control programs, including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related course of study preferred.
Salary : $60 - $70
