Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various duties to ensure smooth store operations.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays as needed
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and store policies
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and change calculations
