POSITION TITLE: TMS Technician, Cedar Knolls, NJ
ABOUT US: We offer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) services on-site at our Cedar Knolls and Raritan locations. Additionally, we have a partner organization, Pelorus Elder and Behavioral Health, which is a rapidly expanding practice primarily specializing in Geriatric and Adult Psychiatry within long term care settings and also within our three outpatient office locations. Our growing team of expert psychiatric professionals serves several skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facilities in the state of New Jersey and its surrounding states.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is TMS Technician role located on-site in our Cedar Knolls location. The TMS Technician will be responsible for administering TMS treatments. The ideal candidate for this role will be a collaborative and reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, exceptional multitasking capabilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and schedule transcranial magnetic stimulation treatments (We will fully train the candidate on TMS treatments)
- Create and maintain patient charts on electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collect co-pays, and submit billing charges to billing team
- Assist with records requests
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with regard to patient comfort, treatment chairs, and more
- Answer phone calls and assist with other general administrative duties
- Develop a healthy rapport with patients by showing empathy, compassion, and support
- Foster a caring, comfortable, and safe treatment experience for the patient
- Maintain a tidy and organized treatment area while ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Provide coverage at the Raritan location as needed
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of experience in a medical or mental health setting preferred
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- TMS Clinical Training Certification will be provided through NeuroStar
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Full-time
- On-site required
- Monday to Friday, generally from 9 am to 5 pm
