Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of the largest QSR brands.
The Maintenance Technician will support a standard of excellence and be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facilities. This person will support several quick service restaurant locations around Newington, CT.
Responsibilities
- Service and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and fixtures, such as ice machines, refrigerators, toasters, espresso machines, other coffee equipment, ovens, etc.
- Perform repairs in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Paint building interiors and touch up exterior paint.
- Miscellaneous carpentry repairs.
- Ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable and have experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and/or HVAC systems.
- Certification from a vocation or technical training program in one or more trades is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Maintain excellent communication skills & be able to work independently.
- This is a hands-on position; candidates should be able to sit, stand, traverse, etc. for up to 12 hours and lift, push, or pull materials up to 50lbs.
