We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join the Audit & Assurance side of the practice. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting audits, reviews, and comps and the processes and procedures in each. This role requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles and regulations, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively. The right person will be eligible for equity/ownership on a substantially accelerated track.
Responsibilities
- Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements, manage client relationships, and help drive quality and innovation across our audit & assurance practice
- Collaborate and supervise with Audit & Assurance staff to deliver impactful work
- Develop and implement audit plans, ensure timely and accurate completion
- Run engagements from planning to completion
Experience
- This leadership opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong public accounting background who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment
- Bachelors of Science in Accountancy or Related Field
- CPA Licensure (active)
- 5 years of public accounting experience with 2 in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong command of US GAAP and risk-based auditing principles
- Fundamental understanding of income taxation
- Experience with Thomson Reuters software a plus
