About the Role
Assembly Support Technician is responsible for ensuring all safety procedures are followed and the proper PPE is in place.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and the proper PPE is in place
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures
- Use hand and power tools and torches for disassembly and reassembly of components
- Use mics, dial indicators, feeler gauges and other precision measuring devices
- Tack weld assemblies and measure to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Final weld parts in all postures and positions
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they occur
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge in rigging and crane safety
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Mig and Oxy-Fuel torch
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
- Must have a positive and professional attitude
- Available to work weekends and overtime
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
