Position Summary
The primary function of a Patient Service Representative is to provide administrative support for our Primary Care and Specialty practices across our TidalHealth Network including, Salisbury, MD, Berlin/Ocean Pines, MD, Seaford, DE and points in between. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for greeting patients as well as check in and check out. This includes but is not limited to verification and maintenance of all patient information including identification, insurance and financial info. The Patient Service Representative also coordinates patient communication with required staff under the direct supervision of the office supervisor/manager.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Medical terminology and/or medical secretarial degree (2years) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years secretarial experience required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office computer programs, practice management systems and spreadsheets preferred
- Monday - Friday, Day Shift
