Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS :
- PURPOSE OF JOB :
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Coordinates, with the pharmacist, the work flow for the processing of medication orders.
- Accurately prepares the routine supply of oral and injectable medications according to
- Delivers and returns medications to and from patient care areas and other departments on
- Maintains stock appropriately in the pharmacy, and in the patient care areas.
- Uses technology and automation appropriately to support medication delivery and storage
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education : At least 18 years of age, High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred, not required.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification not required
- Other Skills : Basic Computer Skills, Versatility, Time management, Ability to Prioritize, Open and Honest Communication, Ability to coordinate work with others
