A wonderful opportunity! No evenings or weekends! Full time Medical Assistant position available in our busy Outpatient Mental Health facility in Phoenixville, PA.
An applicant must possess the ability to multi-task in a busy environment, have strong EMR experience, must share a passion for patient and customer centered care, and be a flexible team player.

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 yr. of Medical Assistant or equivalent experience
Experience with electronic medical records

Duties include:
- Charting in EMR (computer experience necessary, eCW experience preferred)
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, current and past medication history, family history, social history, allergies, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary vitals
- Ensures all related reports, labs and information is available in patient's medical records prior to their appointment
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to psychiatrists and CRNPs. Provide feedback and answers to patient/psychiatrist/pharmacy calls
- Process medication Prior Authorizations
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
