A Typical Day
The Systems Engineer is responsible for all onsite service and support needs for our customers, IT and IT business units. This relates to all technology, to include: virtual workstations, servers, patch management, and vendor specific hardware and software.
The Systems Engineer will:
- Provide Tier 3 support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for EUC-related issues
- Have critical and analytical thinking, able to interpret monitoring and logging, able to troubleshoot, deliver an RCA and provide solutions to future proof systems
- Provide multi level deployment support for software (this would be MDM, PDQ, AppVols etc) Nothing specific
- Maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions, including hybrid, multi cloud deployments
- Configure and maintain application delivery including lifecycle management
- Develop and maintain custom Operating system images and deployment processes
- Integrate mobile device management (MDM) solutions like Workspace ONE for unified endpoint management
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for hybrid environments, leveraging cloud solutions
- Collaborate with networking and security teams to design and implement secure remote access solutions and general VDI compliance.
- Automate deployment and configuration tasks using PowerShell, APIs, and other scripting tools
- Stay up-to-date with latest EUC technologies and industry best practices
What You’ll Bring
- 5 years of experience in enterprise EUC/VDI deployments.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, AWS)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Horizon, Workspace ONE, App Volumes, and customized OS deployments
- Familiarity with AWS (VMC/Workspaces), Azure (AVD) and Google (GCP)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPNs, load balancing, firewalls) for secure remote access
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, APIs, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently, own projects from inception to successful completion

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
