What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Pennypack Woods HOA?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all maintenance activities for the community are appropriately carried out. This includes, but not limited to, on site observation of maintenance workers and outside contractors, etc
- Uphold the policies and procedures, interactions with members, Board of Directors and other staff.
- Inspection of units, including crawl spaces.
- Delegate work to subordinates and ensure the timely completion of the same.
- Keep a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintain a reporting of the same.
- Off hours work when required during emergency and other times deemed fit by Maintenance Manager and /or Association Manager.
- Assume Maintenance Managers responsibilities when he/she are absent.
Skills and Specifications
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Expected time management is approx. 75% field supervising and 25% office management.
- Should have good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members.
Education and Qualifications
- High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
