STARTING DATE: 2022 2023 School YearREPORTS TO: Supervisor of Student ServicesWORK YEAR: 225 day per work calendarSALARY RANGE: Appropriate step on Salary ScheduleQUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Valid Ohio LSW, LISW or LISW-SExperience as a social worker in an educational setting preferredA minimum of one (1) year experience with managing case management and/or care plan programs is advantageousA minimum of one (1) year experience supervising direct service staff is advantageousAbility to problem solve and communicate effectivelyCurrent van license, or willingness to obtain Documented evidence of a clear criminal recordRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide case management services to students and families as neededImplement individual and group interventions for students on caseloadProvide family interventions to support the whole child and decrease barriers to academic and social growthConduct home visits and provide home-based interventions to students on caseload, as appropriateMonitor the attendance, behavior, emotional and academic progress of students on caseloadCollect assessment data relevant to the childs emotional, academic, and developmental history to assist in educational and career planning.Coordinate learning opportunities for families, staff, administrators and students on topics identified on needs assessment(s)Act as a liaison between students, families, and school personnel and participate in team meetings to support student achievement and overcome social, emotional, or behavioral concerns.Provide consultation to staff on mental health concerns, behavioral interventions, and crisis intervention as neededWork with community and regional service providers to provide resources to students and familiesMaintain communication with parents and the educational team for students on caseload on a consistent basis to share information and give feedback on student progress.Serve as an active participate on crisis intervention and threat assessment teamsSupervise and provide support to social work interns, as appropriateConduct other duties related to the position of social worker as described by supervisor(s)DEADLINE: Open until filled APPLY TO: https://pentacareercenter.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspxPenta Career Center hereby gives notice that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, ancestry, religion, disability/handicap, age, citizenship status, or veteran status in its educational programs, activities, employment policies, or admission policies and practices, as required by law.
