We have an opportunity for a Buyer to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will be responsible for qualifying, planning, and purchasing materials for your assigned Value Stream. You will: Place and track inventory and non-inventory parts Source new parts (Work with supplier on part qualification) Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production requirements. Establish and update supplier pull signals to reflect production requirements. Create orders consistent with PFEP and provide visibility to exceptions. Coordinate inventory transfer to production. Coordinate with cross-functional team on material requirements. Achieve monthly/annual inventory targets. Process non-conforming materials back to suppliers Perform RCCA for production downtime and missed ETAs. Follow up on critical shipments to ensure timely arrival at dock. Key Qualifications: 3 years of buyer/planner experience. Excellent knowledge of MRP logic. Ability to apply Lean supply chain concepts, for example: pull replenishment system (kanban) Sourcing experience using total cost of ownership model. Must be detail oriented, have good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
