Job Description
As an intermediate level RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing multi-stage low-noise high-gain RF pulse amplifier systems. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies to model, simulate, implement, and test these systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design multi-stage low-noise RF amplifiers and systems.
- Select components for RF amplifiers including MMICs, LNAs, bias networks, and digital attenuators.
- Utilize RF signal generators, RF spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, and electronics laboratory test equipment.
- Use ADS, CST Studio, Ansys HFSS, or other RF modeling and simulation tools.
- Design and integrate shielding for sensitive electronic circuits.
- Capture schematics and perform PCB layout using tools like Altium Designer.
- Calculate noise figure and signal-to-noise ratio.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop manufacturable solutions.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing designs.
- Ensure compliance with certification bodies.
- Stay updated with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Essential Skills
- Experience in designing electronic circuits.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Ability to work with low power and some high power RF systems.
- Capability to test and verify designed circuits independently.
- Experience with network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience preferred, open to candidates with 20 years.
- Experience with RF low power and electronic circuit design.
