We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pallet Jack Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize materials. This role is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting order fulfillment processes. A strong understanding of OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge is preferred to promote a safe working environment.2nd shiftMonday - Friday and Saturdays if neededSchedule: 2:00 pm -10:30 pm Plus overtimePay rate: $20.50 an hourMust have experience with Stand up reach, Sit-down Forklift, Rider EPJ and Sit down forklift.#AzusaResponsibilitiesOperate pallet jacks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials.Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control.Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.Support shipping & receiving activities by organizing products for shipment or storage.Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to OSHA safety standards.Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.Perform routine inspections on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.Assist in materials handling tasks such as stacking, sorting, and moving inventory within the warehouse.QualificationsPrevious experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving preferred.Valid certification or experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, crane, or clamp trucks.Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.Experience with RF scanners for order picking is a plus.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Prior warehouse supervisor or construction experience is advantageous but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
